Midlands Area Championships

Turner duo battled it out at Draycote Water Sailing Club last weekend at the Midlands Area Championships. Toby achieved no lower than 2nd place in all 8 races to sail himself to victory and claim the sought after title. The conditions were top end on Saturday, dropping more on Sunday but Toby showed his skills across the variety of conditions and wind shifts. "There are some big names on the trophy and I am proud to add mine to it".
Faith hit some race wins herself against her brother to finish 4th overall and winning Top Female sailor. "My starts were the best I have ever done and I held two race leads against the strong fleet. It was tough competition out there and two very long tiring days."
