All enquiries will be dealt with in strictest confidence.
Snettisham Beach Sailing Club operates as a Community Amateur Sports
Club (CASC).
This is a special tax status which the Government supports in order to encourage more people into sport.
As a CASC, Snettisham Beach Sailing Club ensures that:
- Membership is open to the whole community
- Membership admission is on a non-discriminatory and fair basis.
- Surplus income and gains cannot be distributed to its members or third parties.
- If it is dissolved, all its assets are distributed to sporting or charitable organisations.
HMRC rules since 1st April 2016 require that CASC clubs offer a Membership that is affordable to persons on a very limited income. Therefore, Snettisham Beach Sailing Club offers a Low Income individual membership linked to boat hire concessions.
