Defibrillator Installed At The Club

We have now installed a public access defibrillator at its clubhouse.
It is particularly important that defibrillators are available close to facilities that children, young people, and the wider community use regularly. We host 100 or more club users and members each week between March and October and are situated on the coastal path and adjacent to the RSPB reserve. As a Community Amateur Sports Club and felt that it was important that we made our defibrillator available to all who might need it. We hope we never have to use it, but if we can help save 1 of the 100,000 SCA deaths annually then it will have been worthwhile. The defibrillator is incredibly easy to use but to supplement this training will take place at the club for all instructors and anyone else who wishes to attend - date tbc.
The defibrillator was installed with grant support from the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk Defibrillator Scheme which is administered by Norfolk Community Foundation, and with support from the Huns family in memory of George M. Fox, Commodore 1961 - 1963.
