Club Racing

Club Racing at Snettisham Beach is a mixture of monthly fleet Series Racing, Handicap Cups, occasional Regattas and Open Meetings (see Sailing Programme).

The regular series racing is fleet based with each fleet responsible for their own race management, typically using gate boat starts and their race coordinator who is responsible for coordinating the results.  The racing is always supported by a safety boat. The current fleets raced regularly at the club are Dart 18s, Enterprises, Laser 1, Lasers 2000 and juniors in Toppers. The Juniors have their own cup races, some on the sea and some on the inland lake.

There is also a cruising fleet for those members with larger boats, and who like company on their sails.
The club also hosts a number of open events and regattas where club members participate in the organisation and management of the events.
