Wednesday Club

Wednesday Club is for our Junior Members who want to improve their sailing with the help of instructors in a fun group of similiar ability sailors.  Each week we sail either on the lake or if the tide is in, on the sea from 18.00 - 20.00.  Children are split into three ability groups:

Groups:

Intermediates. This group is ideal for juniors who have completed their RYA Stage 2 or sail a confident triangle and want to progress onto the next level in a fun group enviornment - this is not suitable for beginners, please join one of the OnBoard Clubs to learn to sail.

Start Racing. This group is for those who are not quite sure of the rules but want to have a go at club racing. Not suitable for advanced juniors who race regularly.

Experienced Racers. New for this season, if you are too experienced to join in the Wednesday Club tuition, you will be able to race onthe tide for the new Wednesday Series Cup. The weeks which we sail on the lake will be used to follow on from the practice exercises taught at Zone Squad training sessions.  This group will be run by volunteers/parents, contact Guy if you are able to help: vicecomm@snetbeach.co.uk

Dates:
13th June through summer to 29th August when we hold our end of club BBQ.

Cost:
There is no charge for Wed Club but no shows will be charged £10.
