Cadet Week 2018

Monday 6th August - Friday 10th August

PRESENTATION / Lunch - SATURDAY 11th August @ 11.00 

This is our very popular annual sail training week for junior members.

The groups get together each day for approx 2.5 to 3 hours either on the sea or the gravel pits.

All the sessions are instructor led and split into groups based on their ability.

The emphasis is on making new friends, having fun and learning new skills.

Sailing on the Sea:

Group 1 - First time on the Sea, Group 2 - Racing on the sea (Fevas)

SEA SAILING: Mon 12:30, Tues 13:45, Wed 14:45, Thurs 15:45, Fri 16:30 (2.5hr sessions)

Cost £90 per child

Lake Groups
 

Morning Group Times: Novice 1, Bronze 1, Silver  – 09.30 - 12.30
 

Afternoon Group Times: Novice 2, Bronze 2, Gold (Oppies and Toppers) -13.30 - 16.30

Cost £80 per child

*Novice groups use the club boats, A limited number of club toppers available to hire on

First come - first served basis, Cost £40 per week per child

Help Volunteers required

If you wish to help during this important week there will be a sign up sheet at the club at the start of the week.

How to Book
Entry is open to all club members, please ensure your have renewed/paid your membership then
You will be sent a cadet week booking form with your membership pack. Please send in a separate form for each child.

If you are unsure which group to book your child in to please indicate this on your form.  Jane and Becky review all bookings to ensure that children are placed the most appropriate group for their experience.  

 

We are a RYA Championship club which recognises our commitment to deliver safe, effective race training and the ongoing development of our young sailors. We have been inspected by AALA and have been granted a licence which recognises our good practice and safety management systems.
