Juniors Snettisham Beach Sailing Club has a large number of junior members whose abilities range from complete novice through to very experienced. We have a number of members who are part of the Regional Zone Squad. This is the first step on the way to becoming a future champion!
We are very fortunate as we have inland water in the form of flooded gravel pits which offer safe sailing and an ideal location for beginner tuition. Most of the children sail either Oppie (Optimist) or Topper dinghies. Toppers are virtually indestructible, allowing the children to learn and play without fear of damage. Other boats sailed are Mirrors and some of the more experienced juniors sail Lasers on the tide.
