Fleets

There are several fleets at the club spanning both racing and cruising.

The current fleets raced regularly at the club are Dart 18s, Enterprises, Laser 2000s and Toppers.  

This year we are starting a Handicap fleet. We use the PY handicap system but with some modifications for slow old boats. We have  Fireballs, Laser 1s, RS 200s, Wayferers, a laser 4000, Mirrors and few other odd craft.

It is quite common that all the monohulls will start together and sail the same course even if we have different fleets races. The Darts being so much faster tend to sail longer courses.

 There is also a cruising fleet for those members with larger boats, and who like company on their sails.
